Larry Wilson received his Bachelor of Design Degree, University of Florida, Magna Cum Laude. After practicing in Houston, Washington, DC and New York City, Wilson relocated to Jacksonville, Florida.

He maintains a studio at the CoRK arts district


Wilson has exhibited in national museums and galleries including the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Jacksonville, Fl., MOCA, Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, The Fine Art Museum of the South, Montgomery, Alabama, The Boca Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Fl., The Alexander Breast Museum at Jacksonville University and The Nathan Wilson Gallery at Florida Community College in Jacksonville. His work has also been exhibited at the Williams-Cornelius Gallery, SMART Gallery, Media Image, Spiller Vincenty Gallery, Fairfax Gallery, the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach and the Alford Ackerman Gallery. His work can currently be seen at CX904 – The Creative Exchange, Jacksonville, Florida, The Signature Gallery in Tallahassee, Florida, and the H.Whitaker Gallery in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.


He was appointed Chair to the Mayor’s Committee on Art in Public Places and was a Board Member of the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville. Wilson has served as a Trustee on the board of the Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and has served on the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Arts Commission. He is currently serving on the Board of the Cathedral Arts Project and as a Mayor appointed member on the Art in Public Places Committee, The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.
